County Wicklow

I visited County Wicklow on a rainy Thursday morning. Our tour headed into the mountains and stopped at a few lakes along the way. The above lake is Lough Bray lower. We continued along and saw some of the filming locations for battle scenes in Braveheart. We then stopped at an overlook that provided a beautiful view of the mountains and of Lough Tay, also known as the Guinness Lake.

The Sally Gap was a joy to see. If only it hadn't been so rainy! We also stopped at a cute little waterfall before making our way to Glendalough.
